Mechanism of medicine action:
Anastrozole acts by reversibly binding to the aromatase enzyme and inhibiting the conversion of androgens to estrogens in peripheral (extragonadal) tissues through competitive inhibition. In humans, the medicine inhibits aromatase 96.7 percent to 97.3 percent at a dosage of 1 mg/day and 98.1 percent at a dosage of 10 mg/day. As a result, 1 mg/day is considered the minimum dose required to achieve maximum aromatase suppression with anastrozole. Anastrozole has no effect on corticosteroids or other adrenal steroids.

Side effects:
Hot flashes, asthenia, arthritis, pain, arthralgia, hypertension, depression, nausea and vomiting, rash, osteoporosis, bone fractures, back pain, insomnia, headache, bone pain, peripheral edema, coughing, dyspnea, pharyngitis, and lymphedema are all common side effects of anastrozole (less than 10% incidence). Skin responses such as lesions, ulcers, or blisters; allergic reactions with swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or neck that may cause trouble swallowing or breathing.

Dosage:
As Anastron has been shown in studies to assist in the generation of endogenous natural Testosterone production in males, an Anastron dosage of 0,25 mg to 0,5 mg per day should be sufficient for the duration of any PCT length.
